Is TeleHealth safe & secure?
Just like in-person care, your medical information, messages, and appointments are all protected by privacy rules. All TeleHealth appointments connect you to a HIPAA-compliant secure video platform.
For complete privacy we suggest taking your appointments from the following:
- A private room in your home
- Your parked car
- Outdoors, away from other people
What devices or applications do I need for my TeleHealth visit?
Any mobile phone, tablet, or computer with video capabilities will launch the video call. The video link will automatically open your appointment and connect you with an AFC provider without having the hassle of downloading anything.
Is TeleHealth care as good as in-person care?
In most cases, TeleHealth care has the same or even better quality than in-person care. It also makes it MUCH more convenient for you!
I’m not very tech-savvy, is TeleHealth care the right choice for me?
Yes! Our video platform is simple and easy to use.
What should I do if there is a technical problem during my TeleHealth appointment?
You can call us at 503-305-6262 and one of our team members will restart the video care appointment or schedule you for an in-person visit if needed.
Can I get a prescription filled during my TeleHealth visit?
Most prescriptions are handled electronically. No need to take a paper prescription to the pharmacy, we will electronically prescribe to the pharmacy of your choice.
Will my insurance cover my TeleHealth visit?
Most insurances cover TeleHealth visits at the same rate as in-clinic visits. For a full list of in-network insurances, please visit our insurance page.
